Practical tips for installation and maintenance
- Correct installation order: First check the idler mounting seat and the bearing fitting surface to ensure that there is no foreign matter or damage. Special tools should be used during installation to avoid impact deformation.
- Lubricant selection and replacement: It is recommended to use heavy-duty gear oil that meets the manufacturer’s standards. Check the oil quality 50 hours after the first filling, and then replace it every 200-300 hours according to the working conditions.
- Daily cleaning and maintenance: After work, remove the sand on the surface of the idler wheel in time to keep the rolling surface clean and extend the service life. A small amount of anti-rust lubricant can be applied after cleaning.
- Wear detection method: Use a vernier caliper to measure the idler tooth surface and end face dimensions. When the deviation from the factory standard value reaches the safety limit, replacement should be considered.
